The benefits of the arts to the individual and the community are many. Their value is becoming increasingly recognised as a key aspect of a well balanced society. The Gate is committed to providing a balanced programme of dancing, music, theatre, singing, visual arts and writing. We invite both amateur and professional artists to perform at The Gate to ensure that quality arts are made accessible to all.

The Gate is a registered charity and aims to include and welcome all regardless of age, disability, ethnicity or gender. Whilst its ethos is Christian, The Gate is committed to working with people of all faiths and none.
