The Gate’s own mixed choir rehearse and perform a wide range of music from popular to classical. You don’t need to be able to read music or audition to join this community based chorus. All welcome!

The Gate presents Jazz café, an evening of great music in the warm and friendly atmosphere of our in-house Café Bar. Our professional house Jazz trio provide the music, inviting budding jazz musicians from the audience to join them throughout the night on rhythm, piano, wind and vocal sections. In the past, Jazz Café has attracted local professional Jazz musicians, so whether you would like to feature as a musician, or simply sit back and enjoy the music, an enjoyable evening is promised to all.
