Children’s Ballet – Pre-Primary, Primary, Grades 1 & 2
Ballet is fantastically fun and challenging at the same time. We offer a wide choice of ballet classes in a variety of skill-levels. Our primary classes work to prepare children for entry to Royal Academy of Dance exams. Pre-primary, primary, grades 1-3 currently taught.
You are welcome to join at any time throughout the term if there are enough places – the classes are very popular. You can attend 1 taster session: if you like it and want to come back, we ask that you then pay for the rest of the term up front.
PLEASE NOTE: There will be no classes on Friday the 3rd of May.
LEVELS
Pre Primary 4 – 6 years: Friday’s 15:45 – 16:45
Wear: Ballet shoes – any comfortable dancewear. 4–6 years olds. No experience needed.
Primary 6 – 8 years: Friday’s 16:45 – 17:45
Wear Pale blue R.A.D regulation leotard, elastic belt, pink ballet socks, pink ballet shoes.
Boys and girls. No previous experience needed.
Ballet Levels 1 and 2, & Grade 3
Beginners learn the basic skills and principles of classical ballet according to the Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus. Level 2 is for those with some previous experience of dance who want to improve and develop their technique. Grade 3 classes follow the Royal Academy of Dance set syllabus and preparation for entry into the Grade 3 exam.
Grade 1: Friday 17:45 – 18:45,
Grade 2: Friday 18:45 – 19:45
Grade 3 will be held at Miriam’s ballet school.
