Orchard Entertainment Presents: Little Comets + Special Guests
October is set to be a mammoth month for Little Comets with therelease of their second album, ‘Life is Elsewhere’ and their largest headline tour to date, including a home show at Newcastle’s O2 Academy on Saturday, the twentieth and a London headline show at Koko
“Life is Elsewhere’ is released by Dirty Hit on October 8th and the first single from the album, ‘A Little Opus’ (a lyrical autopsy on Britain’s ‘old school tie’ political elite) has already received support from Radio One, BBC6 Music (it won Lamacq’s Rebel Playlist vote here) as well as XFM, where the band recently recorded a live session for Mary Anne Hobbs.
After a summer featuring many tentish festival performances, a brief sojourn with the Olympic Flame (including the Hyde Park finale) allowed Little Comets to fondly represent the region from which they proudly descend, playing some truly special shows to throngs of gleeful north east indigenes.
